Chakra is a Sanskrit word for spinning wheel or disc. We have 7 main chakras that lie parallel to the spine. These energy centers regulate the flow of energy throughout our bodies and aura and influence all levels of our well-being.

Mudra is a Sanskrit word that means “symbolic hand gesture.” These gestures are an intrinsic part of yoga, and are often referred to as ‘yoga for the hands.’ Ayurvedic tradition teaches that we have over 72,000 energy channels in our bodies and that each mudra connects certain channels to activate them for specific healing outcomes.

What to expect during Chakras and Mudras – Crown Chakra:

Each week you’ll receive information about each chakra and learn a mudra that corresponds to that week’s chakra. You’ll also learn a sacred sound for each mudra that you can tone or chant as you hold the posture.

This week’s session will focus on the crown chakra and the role it plays as the entry point for the human life-force energy. This force nourishes all parts of our being: mind, body and spirit. Difficulties that arise from an unbalanced crown chakra can lead to spiritual crises that may cause a ‘dark night of the soul’ experience.

The physical parts of the body that are impacted by this chakra include: the central nervous system, the muscular system and the skin. With such a widespread impact on our physical bodies, this is a chakra whose well-being shouldn’t be ignored!

Once you’ve learned about the crown chakra:

Once we’ve reviewed the crown chakra, I’ll teach you a mudra and a sacred sound to use for healing issues related to this energy center. You’ll have time to learn and practice the mudra before we move into a distance Reiki circle. As the healing energies of Reiki begin to flow within and around you, the vibrations of drums, rattles and singing bowls may enhance your experience and take you to a deeper level of healing.

The mudra’s activation of new energy channels may influence your experience and provide a new level of healing, openness and receptivity. As Spirit provides wisdom and guidance in a variety of forms, you may have a whole-body experience that impacts your healing in unfamiliar ways.

Be sure to keep a journal handy for any notes or guidance. A blanket, water bottle and some tissues are always good to have close by so you can take care of your body’s needs as you heal, release and move forward.

If this session calls to you but you can’t make the live event, register anyway so you can receive the recording of the session once it’s complete. There is as much power for change and healing in the recording as there is when you attend the live event! Many people access the sessions this way so they don’t miss out on the sessions that call to their hearts. You’ll receive the recording within 24 hours of the completion of the session.

Refund Policy for Chakras and Mudras – Crown Chakra:

Your registration guarantees you will receive the recording of the completed session. If you can’t attend the event for some reason, you will be able to use the recording to experience the session at a time that is best for you. Many people register even if they can’t join the live session because they have found the recorded sessions to be just as powerful. For this reason, no refunds are offered if you are unable to participate in the live event.

Important note: If you register at the last minute, it is possible you may not receive your connection info in time for the session. Please keep this in mind when registering. You will still receive the recording to use at your leisure once the session is complete. During the hour preceding the session, I’m preparing myself and my space for the session.
