Join me for Healing with Mudras, Part 2, to learn four additional hand gestures to improve your life and add to your spiritual practice. What a great way to build up your self-help toolkit!
For centuries people have used hand gestures for blessings, divine protection, knowledge and receiving guidance from the Divine. In India, these gestures were named mudras.
Mudra is a Sanskrit word that means “symbolic hand gesture.” These gestures are an intrinsic part of yoga, and are often referred to as ‘yoga for the hands.’ There are over a hundred mudras in use today to assist the practitioner in healing, as well as opening and maintaining a connection to Divine and cosmic energy.
I covered some basic information about mudras in my first mudra class, along with mudras to increase your ability to receive guidance, prevent stress, diminish worries and transcend anger and cure and prevent headaches. If you’d like to learn the first four mudras we explored, you can purchase the recording of that class HERE.
*** Please note: I’m not an expert in mudras, but I was guided to explore them. I initially thought I was guided to them so I could offer them as a workshop. After practicing the mudras to determine if they were appropriate to share with others, I realized the real reason I was guided to them was to help myself! Once I experienced the benefits of mudras in my own life, I couldn’t wait to share them with others! Their use has truly been a game changer in my life. I hope you’ll join me to explore their potential benefit for your life.
What to expect during Healing with Mudras, Part 2:
During Healing with Mudras, Part 2, I’ll explain the significance of the hands and each of the fingers in your mudra practice. I’ll teach you four additional mudras that will provide additional tools to improve your health and overall well-being. You’ll also learn a Sanskrit mantra for use in one of the mudras. This second session provides mudras for
* happiness and joyfulness
* preventing burnout and recharging your energy system
* eliminating fatigue, promote healing and enhance your intuition
* unblocking the subconscious mind and aiding in the process of self-evaluation
* dieting/healthy eating
You’ll have time to practice each mudra to experience its energy, time to process what you experienced, and an opportunity for sharing and questions. Make sure to have a notebook or journal on hand to record your experiences.
Special instructions:
* Mudras are best practiced at least an hour after a meal. Please finish eating at least 1 hour prior to the session’s start time.
* Attached to your registration confirmation will be a document that will provide a link to a YouTube video that will provide the correct pronunciation for the Sanskrit mantra we will be using for one of the mudras. Please practice the mantra often enough before the session so that you are comfortable using it during our mudra practice in the session. It’s a beautiful mantra, and fairly easy to master.
After your practice:
Once you’ve experienced the power of these additional mudras, we’ll move into a group Reiki session. During this session you can use the mudras you learned (one or all) and experience how the Reiki energy, combined with the mudras, impacts your experience during the healing session. (You can also just relax into the energy without the use of a mudra.) ;)
The vibrations of drums, rattles and singing bowls may enhance the healing energies of Reiki. Your angels and guides may offer guidance and wisdom for your journey. The energetic connections activated through your use of the mudras, both prior to the energy session and during, may take your experience to a completely different level. You may be opened up in ways you’ve never experienced before. Whatever your experience, it will be exactly what Spirit orchestrated for your highest good.
If this session calls to you but you can’t make the live event, register anyway so you can receive the recording of the session once it’s complete. There is as much power for change and healing in the recording as there is in attending the live event! Many people access the sessions this way so they don’t miss out on the sessions that call to their hearts.
